BioSolaire.tech offers the first modular connected biosolar facade, a patented innovation for tomorrow’s buildings.
Building facades are unused square meters that strongly contribute to urban heat islands. They absorb heat during the day and release it at night, worsening urban climate conditions.
To address this, BioSolaire.tech developed an innovative, sustainable and profitable solution: the biosolar facade.
2. What is biosolar?

It is a pioneering technique that combines building vegetation with photovoltaic panels on the same surface.

3. A full-scale demonstrator
Measuring the innovation across the seasons
Installed in spring 2026 in Provence, southern France, our demonstrator features a 25 m² biosolar facade to measure thermal and energy performance and continue improvements.

The R&D brief aims to optimize the relationships between the facade components:
- the optimal distance between the green wall and photovoltaic panels
- the optimal spacing between photovoltaic panel rows
- the optimal inclination of photovoltaic panel columns according to seasons and solar radiation
